Indian Motorcycle

Dvelop Project Solutions was pleased to oversee the refurbishment of two existing retail fitouts, transforming them into a high-end modern motorcycle showroom and workshop for Indian Motorcycle. Our responsibilities encompassed demolition, structural alterations, and the creation of new partitions to form the shell of the showroom. Substantial upgrades to electrical and data services were also required to meet the high audiovisual and marketing demands.

The interior fitout for this project was intricate and required careful coordination with overseas manufacturers of custom furniture to fit precisely into detailed spaces. Innovative joinery and finishing techniques were employed to create a building that reflected Indian Motorcycle’s aged industrial American branding. This included using cement fibre sheets to resemble heavy steel beams and using metallic and specialist rust-effect paints for an aged appearance. Other specialist finishes involved clay brick wall tiles, hand-pigmented flooring, and selectively stained marine plywood panels.

Despite the challenges, Dvelop Project Solutions was committed to delivering this project on time, to a high standard, and with minimal variations. Our pragmatic and cooperative approach was instrumental in minimizing the impact of scope changes and achieving the desired finishes. This project was a testament to our dedication to successful project outcomes.
